Equipment for the treatment of ballast water in merchant ships. Through the development of an Ecodesign process, a 33% reduction in the environmental footprint has been achieved due to lower energy consumption. In this way, the first Basque and national equipment for the treatment of ballast water in GARABI (BUAP Equipment) has been developed.
