IZIR_CIRCULAR ECONOMY

This is a range of finished products (backpacks, bags, toiletry bags, etc.) that arise from the continuous search to minimise waste and promote the use of materials associated with Irizar's activity. This search gave rise to the idea of giving a second life to surplus materials from the interior lining of coaches, but not with a focus on being a by-product from which another organisation can manufacture a new product. The focus of the project is to create a new product for Irizar from these surplus materials.

  • Annual reuse of around 3,500 kg of textiles. 
  • Since the launch of these products, 10,500 kg of textiles have been reused.
  • Annual reduction of 1,634.53 kg CO2 eq per year.
