REACTION WHEEL OR INERTIA FLYWHEEL

The product is a reaction wheel or flywheel for maneuvering satellites in orbit over 100 kg. Eco-designed with bio-inspired designs and manufactured by sand mold casting made by additive manufacturing. The bio-inspired approach followed for its design has enabled the development of a LOBSTER reaction wheel with minimal weight and high moment of inertia, meeting stringent vibration and rotation requirements. The reaction wheel weighs 3.4 kg.
