Circular products manufactured in the Basque Country

Zirkularrak (or ‘ Zirkularrak – Circular Basque Products’) is an initiative and exhibition organised by Ihobe, the Basque Government’s environmental management agency; it provides insight into the wide variety of products produced using ecodesign methodologies with a life-cycle approach and which therefore have substantially reduced their environmental impact.

The Basque Country has a proven track record of over 20 years applying environmental criteria from the product design and development phase; it leads the production of ecodesign products and services and is considered a benchmark region in southern European, particularly in the industrial field. Zirkularrak showcases over 150 products and commercial services from the Basque Country that apply circular economy and ecodesign principles. They are organised into ten different sectors (machinery, metal, transport, furniture & fixtures, automotive, consumer goods, chemical, food, electrical & electronic, and construction materials) in this exhibition; a full guide is also available through WhatsApp with further information.
