Redesign of the 60x40 alveolar tray by modifying the geometry in order to reduce its weight without losing strength. This tray is used to pack spherical fruit such as apples, peaches and tomatoes. The weight reduction leads to a reduction in raw materials and additives, as well as energy savings in the production process.
