BACKPACK

Inspired by the improved version of an eco-designed product, presented and awarded at the AERESS Upcycling Awards 2024.

Handcrafted from industrial waste from local companies (trade fair carpet, industrial fabric and truck lashing straps), we transform discarded materials into a functional and durable product. The whole process is carried out in our socio-occupational insertion workshop, generating dignified employment for people with difficulties in accessing the labour market.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPROVEMENTS

The manufacture of this rucksack avoids the emission of 1.77 kg of CO₂ eq.
The consumption of 457.80 litres of water is avoided.
The reuse of industrial waste avoids the consumption of virgin resources and prolongs its useful life.
