Ontzia addresses the problem caused by the replacement of the containers for recycling packaging in our province.

In the armchair and the sofa made “the container and the content are recycled”, as the fabric is made of recycled PET (the bottles), and tops and legs are made of recycled polyethylene (the caps).

This is a European Project carried out in a space for study and leisure in Fadura Sports Centre (Getxo), where design focuses on circularity, co-creation with users and environmental awareness.

From each container we obtain two backs with an 85% efficiency. And we have designed several solutions to reconfigure the tops (still undeveloped)
