The linings, zips and straps are from the recycling of post consumption plastic bottles. The pockets are made out of fishing nets. The Ternua logo is made by Joseba Mercader with Gipuzkoa wood.

Compared to virgin polyamide, CO2 emissions are reduced by 50% by using recycled polyamide.
